Arcane Armour of the Bastion

Arcane Armour of the Bastion

Ancient Armour of the Beremeni, animated with Minera’s Breath to become formidable foes. Each set would be considered a priceless artifact to scholars and historians, yet here they are used liberally as footsoldiers for the Wandering Mage. With each set destroyed, a small fortune is lost, the ancient armour crumbling to dust as the arcane core within collapses.

Pristine Armour from the Age of Creation. Each set would be worth a small castle in their current condition. Yet here in the Bastion of the Wandering Mage, they are carelessly animated with arcane energy to mindlessly throw themselves at his foes. Each armour set violently explodes upon destruction, ensuring that only scorched shards remain, no gold able to be extracted from their rubble. One wonders if it is by the Mage’s design, and these are simply made to torture the greedy. The arcane cores that power the armours vary in potency. Whilst some are barely enough to have them draw a sword, others burst with arcane energy, spilling forth from their visors and armour gaps, fuelling them with beast-like ferocity. As their arcane cores grow more volatile, so to do their attacks. The power gap between the meekest and toughest of the Arcane Armours is measurable, and even a seasoned adventurer would struggle to stand toe to toe with one at its peak.
