Doktor Jakobson \u2013 Deranged Plague Doctor<\/h2>\n

Jakobson saw Dragonblight at its worst. How he was never afflicted, he does not know. Whether it was one of his thousand prayersto the divine, or simple luck. But now as the disease washes over the city of Limlight in its resurgence, his mind has become lost. All are unclean. All must be treated.<\/p>\n

Doktor Jakobson was among the festering heart of Dragonblight in Folkreach, vainly attempting to treat victims of the plague when the outbreak first began to wash over the city. When it was clear the city would be lost, he fled south, finding refuge in the village of Limlight, though haunted by his failure for years after. For a time, the pain receded when the Blight did. Yet now it has returned with renewed fury, as the disease seems to have followed him to Limlight, two years later. He now is trapped in quarantine, alongside every other soul in Limlight.<\/p>\n

Purging the village is the only solution that can now come to his mind. He is immune, in his mind, for how often he has come into contact with the disease and walked away untainted. Yet every person with him may be a carrier, and thus must be cleansed. Already he has begun hacking away the civilians of the town, the easiest contaminants to remove; they don\u2019t fight back. The soldiers will come next, then the plague-beasts themselves. Everything must burn.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The set<\/span><\/p>\n

Limlight was a village mostly spared by the Dragonblight outbreak two years prior. Now it has become the epicentre of the latest outbreak, trapped in an arcane quarantine. The clock is ticking until all within are infected, or wiped out by the kingdom\u2019s contingency and containment plans. A squad of elite knights and paladins now enter, volunteering their lives to try end the outbreak and purge the plague.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The campaign<\/span><\/p>\n

In The Dire End, the party is trapped within the arcane quarantine zone of Limlight Village. The village is a victim of a new strain of Dragonblight, which has erupted only recently. It was very swiftly quarantined by arcane mages of the kingdom of Draksborne, who are now threatening that the entire quarantine zone will be purged in three days, if those inside are not able to end the plague themselves. With the hourglass quickly emptying, the party will need to join forces with a group of volunteers who have entered the quarantine, in a bid to eradicate the infestation and save the lives of hundreds of survivors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
