Severin lived a life as a Hexhunter for many years prior, travelling across Tharador to offer his services. After one contract led him to Limlight, he fell in love with the woman who hired him, Eleanor. He quickly became a favourite of the locals, owing to his deep knowledge of lore, hunting and craftsmanship. He was voted as mayor after six years of living there, and was responsible for keeping the village mostly unaffected during the first Dragonblight outbreak two years ago. Now, with one sprouting from the heart of his home, Severin has lost his family, his wife, and his mind. He has picked up his swords after years of gathering dust, and anyone who stands before him will face his mindbroken rage.

Severin Linhardt spent the better part of two decades as a Hexhunter, travelling the breadth of Tharador with little more than a pack, a pair of blades, and a reputation that preceded him into most taverns before he did. He was not a man built for roots. Contracts took him from the frozen parishes of Formen to the sun-baked roads of Sudd Tohst, each one bleeding into the next with little to distinguish them beyond the nature of the thing he was paid to kill. It was a contract in the small riverside village of Limlight that would finally stop him in his tracks. The woman who hired him, Eleanor, had a problem with something lurking in the woods at the edge of her farmstead. Severin dealt with it in two nights. He stayed for the rest of his life.

What followed surprised even him. Severin had always assumed that the skills of a Hexhunter translated poorly to civilian life, that a man who spent his years reading the language of claw marks and corrupted soil would find little use for such things in a quiet village. He was wrong. The people of Limlight took to him quickly, drawn to his deep knowledge of lore, his aptitude for craftsmanship, and the particular calm of a man who has faced genuinely terrible things and come back from all of them. Six years after hanging up his swords, his neighbours voted him mayor. He accepted it, though was not entirely sure he deserved it. He served well regardless, and when the first Dragonblight outbreak swept through Draksborne two years ago, it was Severin’s foresight and knowledge of disease containment that kept Limlight from the worst of it. Eleanor stood beside him through all of it. The village held.

It does not hold now. Phrenic Concordia came quietly, as Vahlen always intended, and by the time Severin understood what was happening it had already taken Eleanor, and his children, and whatever version of himself had existed in the years between the old life and this one. The swords came down from the wall where they had gathered dust for the better part of a decade. His hands remembered them without hesitation, which is perhaps the most terrible thing about a Hexhunter, that the killing never truly leaves the body even when the mind has long since tried to move past it. Severin now is not the man Limlight voted for. He is not the man Eleanor married. What stands in the village now is something older and more dangerous, a lifetime of learned violence with nothing left to lose and nowhere left to direct it, and anyone who comes to Limlight looking for answers will find him long before they find anything else.

The set

Limlight was a village mostly spared by the Dragonblight outbreak two years prior. Now it has become the epicentre of the latest outbreak, trapped in an arcane quarantine. The clock is ticking until all within are infected, or wiped out by the kingdom’s contingency and containment plans. A squad of elite knights and paladins now enter, volunteering their lives to try end the outbreak and purge the plague.

The campaign

In The Dire End, the party is trapped within the arcane quarantine zone of Limlight Village. The village is a victim of a new strain of Dragonblight, which has erupted only recently. It was very swiftly quarantined by arcane mages of the kingdom of Draksborne, who are now threatening that the entire quarantine zone will be purged in three days, if those inside are not able to end the plague themselves. With the hourglass quickly emptying, the party will need to join forces with a group of volunteers who have entered the quarantine, in a bid to eradicate the infestation and save the lives of hundreds of survivors.

    Details

Painting

We specialize in custom painted miniatures, so if you are interested in painted minis, please send us a message and we will arrange that for you. All miniatures sold are unpainted, unless otherwise specified. If you would like us to add free matte black primer to the prints, you can let us know, and they’ll be ready to paint right out of the box!

Shipping

Our models are shipped assembled if they are not too delicate, but are usually separated from the base. Wings and some other parts may also be detached and need to be put together, especially for larger models. To put the pieces together, you could use epoxy putty, super glue, or any strong glue that works for plastics. This is to ensure that none of the delicate pieces break or get damaged during shipping. If you really need pieces glued together, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Free Miniature

Get a free miniature with your order. No requirements, every order gets one. It will be a random character from our store. If you order multiple minis, you may even get more than one for free! Enjoy.

Model Scale

Normal-sized miniatures come in two sizes: 32mm and 75mm, which is the height of the humanoid body, so with the base and other accessories like hats, they will end up being a little taller. 32mm is the standard size if you are playing D&D on a physical battle map.

Larger miniatures are measured by the diameter of their base. Large-sized miniatures usually have a 50mm base, huge-sized ones have a 75mm base, gargantuan ones have a 100-120mm base. For specific measurements on any model, please contact us and we’ll be happy to give you the exact numbers.

Creation of Miniatures

These models are made by the fantastic people at DM Stash, and they make incredible models, so please check them out. We are officially licensed to print and sell their models to you, so you can enjoy them too! We print them with an Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra resin printer with 16K resolution (the highest quality available). They are printed using Elegoo Standard 3.0 Vanilla coloured resin, an expensive resin that ensures models are strong without compromising on the detail. The supports are cut off, the model is sanded if needed, and inspected to ensure perfection. The model is washed off with pure alcohol, then cured inside an Elegoo ultcuring enclosure, and prepared for printing.

jQuery(function ($) {
  var $sum = $("div.product .summary");
  function tmqMoney(prices) {
    var raw, minor, n, prefix;
    if (!prices) {
      return "";
    }
    raw = prices.price;
    minor = prices.currency_minor_unit;
    if (typeof minor === "undefined") {
      minor = 2;
    }
    n = Number(raw);
    if (isNaN(n)) {
      return "";
    }
    prefix = prices.currency_prefix;
    if (!prefix) {
      prefix = "$";
    }
    return prefix + (n / Math.pow(10, minor)).toFixed(2);
  }
  function tmqVarName(v) {
    var i, a, attrs, text, idx;
    attrs = v.attributes;
    if (attrs) {
      if (attrs.length) {
        for (i = 0;
