Nilyerg Sureshot \u2013 Dwarven Marksman<\/h2>\n

A retired hunter from the Ek Viriktar, the Crown\u2019s Hunters of Dornat Al Karit. Nilyerg no longer prowls the overland savannahs of his Dwarven homeland: his game now comes to him in the crucible. Though he is fairly new to the hunting ground of the arena, he is confident that it will not take much for him to become accustomed, and earn a name for himself.<\/p>\n

Once a hunter in the Ek Viriktar, the elite hunters of Dornat Al Karit\u2019s Crown, Nilyerg had trekked many thousands of miles in his day through the gruelling savannah of his homeland. After his forty-second successful hunt, a significant milestone in Dwarven culture, he was given leave to retire. Yet his thirst for the hunt did not end, but an age of injuries were beginning to catch up with him, and his time as a trekker had ended for the harsh savannah.<\/p>\n

Wishing to see more of the world in his retirement, Nilyerg travelled to the melting pot kingdom of Belfrie, often hearing its name from worldly Dwarves who would trade their stories of lands beyond. At first he felt overwhelmed by the bustling cities of men, finding solace in the vast and green wilds that lay beyond their walls. It was here that he came upon the Crucible, nestled in the far highlands of the kingdom\u2019s north.<\/p>\n

Curious at first as a spectator, Nilyerg threw his own hat in the ring as he realised many of the fights were not against fellow men, but beasts as well. Thus he has solely faced beasts in the Crucible since, and become a well renowned combatant in its walls. With his rifle and traps, the Dwarf promises a spectacle for almost every match.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The set<\/span><\/p>\n

The Crucible of Belfrie is a well known secret amongst the elite of Tharador\u2019s nobility and high society. A bloody arena hidden in the mountains and run by the Belfrian Merchant League. It is currently undergoing its yearly tournament, with plenty of fresh blood to be spilt on the sand, and imposing monsters from across the continent to be battled. Though beneath the gold and glory, a nefarious conspiracy is beginning to stir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The campaign<\/span><\/p>\n

In Dire Tidings Pt I the party each receives a mysterious letter summoning them to the city of Velandria. There they are brought to the Crucible through a teleportation circle, finding they have been chosen by a mysterious sponsor to form a team for the latest tournament. Blood will be traded for gold as they fight their way to the championship of the arena, uncovering a dastardly plot as their battles progress.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
