Bartholomew Conjuration Sorcerer<\/h2>\n

A member of the Tharadori Scholars Association, Bartholomew is currently in Lo Fuin researching the Drow and their methods of Breath Usage harnessing the power of the moon Glanbeli. Most curiously, he finds himself investigating the abilities of the Irinaxi Drow, who draw their power from a supposed divine that has never been known to those outside of Lo Fuin.<\/p>\n

A graduate from the University of Ardris, Bartholomew specialised in the arcane art of Conjuration, harnessing Mineras Breath to summon weapons, armour, or creatures to his aid. Yet for all the spells he mastered, there were many that he wished to better learn, namely those wielded by the Drow of Lo Fuin. There the inhabitants of the labyrinthine tunnels and murky swamps had developed their own arcane traditions, harnessing power from both the Moon and their supposed Spider God, Irinax. At first he joined the Tharadori Scholars Association in pursuit of this knowledge, but exhausted all research on the matter swiftly, for little was documented.<\/p>\n

Thus he has now travelled to the outpost of Zanders Peril, funded by the TSA. Whilst he had heard of the perilous nature of Lo Fuin, nothing prepared him for it until he walked the road to Zanders Peril with an escort from the World Explorers & Hunters League. Monsters assailed their caravan constantly, and several of his less-prepared colleagues were lost in the journey. Thankfully, for his own arcane acuity, Bartholomew was able to defend himself when the time was needed.<\/p>\n

Now, in Zanders Peril itself, he is stuck wondering how to even go about his research. The lands beyond the outpost are a death trap, and the Glanbelite Drow which were reportedly amicable towards Zanders Peril when he first began his endeavour, have now withdrawn back into reclusion. Seeing little other options, Bartholomew is beginning to consider his own expedition into the swamp to reach the Drow city of Hirika and begin his research.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The set<\/span><\/p>\n

The Drow of Lo Fuin have long been a secluded people, owing to the deadly nature of their homeland. In recent years, the Glanbelite Moon Drow have open limited contact with outsiders in the expeditionary outpost of Zanders Peril, but that has suddenly ceased. A schism is brewing within the ranks of the Moon Drow, and they suspect outside influence to be the cause, be it the Overworlders, or their Irinaxi Spider kin. Either way, they are now at each others throats, and peace is carefully balanced on a knifes edge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The campaign<\/span><\/p>\n

In Schism of the Drow the party undertakes a quest that no other adventurers at Zanders Peril dare: to escort a conjurer through the deathly swamps of Lo Fuin to the Glanbelite Drow city of Hirika. Whilst the journey itself is seen as nigh-suicidal with the friendly Drow no longer tending the route, finding entry to the city may be almost as difficult. If the party does manage to make it inside, they will find that tensions within the ranks of the Glanbelite Drow are bubbling, and the fabric of their once-peaceful society is beginning to unravel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
