Raiko of the Wardens \u2013 Catfolk Wanderer<\/h2>\n

Raiko hails from the dense, untamed forests of Zandoriel, where the catfolk lived free and their society moved to the rhythms of nature. That freedom was stolen from him as a cub. Like many of his kin, he was captured and sold into slavery on Edrador, where his buyers intended to make him a weapon rather than a servant. His fate changed when the Unseen Wardens purchased him and the other captives from Zandoriel.<\/p>\n

For years, Raiko and his kin believed they had found benevolent protectors. As they approached adulthood, the Wardens revealed the truth: they were a secretive organisation fighting threats hidden from the wider world. The young catfolk were offered a choice\u2014leave with their freedom and no strings attached, or stay and use everything they had learned in service of something greater. Raiko was one of the few who chose to remain.<\/p>\n

Training gave him the purpose he had been searching for. Raiko became the weapon the Wardens needed, honing the discipline of a monk and channelling the fierce nature of the tiger within him. Every strike is precise, every movement calculated. Now he serves as a scout, crossing Tharador in search of the Cult of the Coiled Serpent, the Wardens\u2019 greatest enemy.<\/p>\n

A travelling merchant\u2019s promise of gold has brought a second trail across his path: the depths of a nearby castle and whatever secrets wait inside. Raiko does not shy away from work that might strengthen the Wardens\u2019 coffers. He has accepted the bounty and stepped toward the Bastion of the Wandering Mage, ready to prove that one born into chains can rise into something far greater.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
