Siltharis – Lich of the Restless Grave

Siltharis is a lich captured by Aaron Drafthold after Dark Inquisitors began hunting the macabre inventory in his possession. Rather than let the Inquisitors carry curses into their cities, Aaron imprisoned the creature and made him part of his own proving grounds.

The imprisonment is a cruel reversal for a being who once ensnared the souls and corpses of the dead. Siltharis mocks Aaron, and Aaron mocks his prisoner in return, but neither forgets the power bound inside the lich’s phylactery.

With the phylactery in his belongings, Aaron forces Siltharis through death and destruction again and again, each resurrection leaving the lich weaker. His repeated humiliations have made him patient rather than merciful.

Siltharis is glad to send unsuspecting adventurers to their graves, and he promises a slow, agonising death for Aaron and anyone who has challenged him. The restless grave has followed him into the Bastion of the Wandering Mage.
