A summons into the unknown

In Belfrie, a notice promises adventurers a fortune beyond their wildest dreams. The summons draws a company from distant roads: Lydia the Untarnished, Golden Griffin sergeant and veteran of four years of bloody missions; Glancalion, carrying the secret light of the First Flame; and travellers whose own histories have led them toward the same impossible stronghold.

Indua’ne and Ninera arrive seeking Liturium, an anti-magic metal that might turn the tide against the Irinaxi Drow. Within the Bastion, Aaron’s conjurations wait in the dark: the Sown One’s patchwork flesh and chains, the restless grave of Siltharis, and chambers built to keep every trespasser from the treasures below. What begins as a promise of riches soon becomes a passage through the Wandering Mage’s buried history.
